I would get only snap-on. Only the most exspensive will do. Be sure to post pictures when you can. jK

In all seriousness, I carry a 9-1 screwdriver, channelocks, needlenose and some strippers, a few tyraps, tape and self tapping screws. I mainly carry tools to work on feeders.

Harbor freight sockets are strong... I don't have one so can't be much help other than that.

Snap on tools have a place, their wrenches and tool boxes.... nothing else is on their level.

What about a jack? What type of jack is most popular for the independent suspension on most utv's?

Strap unless you have a winch, lug wrench, tire kit and a compressor. Not much else you can fix on the side of a trail. Jack is always helpful too.

A standard 30mm ammo box makes a dandy, durable watertight tool box.
Put a couple of old towels or tshirts in there to use as rags and to wrap around the tools to keep them from clunking around in box as you drive.

Cheers,
