I got an idea today while cleaning dove breast and packing them.
I have a metal detector that came with a small hand held wand for pin pointing metal items
I placed the probe of the wand into a plastic bag and when I was working with a breast that had evidence of shot impact, I would touch the wand to it.

Surprisingly, I only found one with some in it and when I cut the breast from the bone, it fell out on the table.

I don't know why I didn't think of trying it before.


The only easy day was yesterday
