This year my friends and I booked an opening day dove hunt with Swamp Nasty Outfitters in Bonham, they put us along with 20 other suckers on the field near Petty and there were no birds... anyone have similar experiences? Went home full of disappointment, I didn't fire a single shot. My buddies managed to fire two rounds but that was only because they were pissed and shot our decoy.

Looking for a chance to dove hunt again with someone who can put us on actual birds. Guides please contact me!

Jace used to run a pretty good operation, past few years its gone to crap. Seems like he's lost sight of what's important and it's become all about money.

we hunted with him last year and he put us on a good field, freshly harvested corn and a water source. This year the field had nothing but weeds.... makes sense why he didn't give me the coordinates or address to the location so I can check it out prior to opening day.

Bad area to start with but we hunted with them about 4 years ago, NO BUENO.

Red dirt outfitters are in the birds. My group at Nocona did good opening morning. Wasnt loaded but we where right on them. My Bridgeport guys had a slow morning but the evening hunt was way better. Only a handful of guys hung around to see it. Thats just the kind of place it is. Lot of birds come through after they feed. I pushed the rest back till next weekend. Seeing increasing numbers around Bowie but still low.

That's a bummer to hear. They should've offered you another hunt.

Never trust dove hunts in NE Texas.

I have yet to see one provide anything like you will experience in central or west Texas.
