Lots of limits here for both Friday and Saturday. Some are getting theirs in the mornings but most had to finish their limit out in the afternoon, and some couldn't get a limit with a case of shells. Some of my birds bugged out with the cool weather and north wind this week but still had plenty of birds.

This morning...

Me and my entire group got limits Friday, Saturday and today. Me, my 3 sons, best friend, his son and nephew and a couple buddies. We hunt between Woodson and Throckmortan. The birds seemed a little weird this year. Coming in from entirely different directions from previous seasons. I agree with stompy lots of birds but not quiet as many as last year...although on certain spots you would't know it.

Hunted Friday and Saturday at Stompy's Place. Ended my hunt with 17 total in the bag; I defiantly need more practice but had a great hunt none the less. I hate loosing birds and spent half my opening morning searching. Sad to say I lost 6 birds; technically 5 but the ants fought me over the 6th and they won. Out of all the birds harvested, 90% were Whitewings.
Even with the birds moving out, Stompy seems to find a way to put us on some birds! Looking forward to another hunt there in October!
