Wife is agreeing to a dog so looking for a lab or lab mix, boykin, golden or mix good for indoors and occasional hunting dove and duck and fishing camping, you know a man's dog. Hoping for a runt or lab on the smaller side. Full grown around 35-55 lbish. If you know anyone or a good place or breader to check I appreciate any help I can get. Don't have alot too spend trying to stay around 300 or less (less preferably). Thanks in advance guys!

Hello Onimo my wife and I recently bought a black lab female puppy from Anderson Ranch in Olney. This little dog has been the smartest dog I have ever seen. Brought her home when she was 9 weeks. Currently she is 3 months old. This little puppy came home with no problems already loving the water, very friendly, great manner and is so incredibly smart. I have been training her using the Bill Hillman video series. My experience with Anderson Ranch was everything I could have asked for. We even got some sweet t-shirts. Highly recommend. One tip that everyone gave me was you get what you pay for. While you will find dogs out there in that price range and I'm sure they will make great dogs. This dog has a fantastic line of hunting and working dogs. The first time this little puppy saw a bumper and saw it fly in the air she was hooked. That was two weeks after we brought her home. Currently she is on dead dove and rabbits and goes crazy for them. Good luck in your search! I'll try and post pictures of little Bailey. That is a 'puppy cupcake'. Needless to say she was very happy to partake.
