Sadly, I will be shutting Spot On Outdoors down once I sell my remaining inventory of Sportsman Solar Powered Hog Lights.
Reason: At the recent Hunters Extravaganza in Fort Worth we quickly sold the last of our lights (less what I had personally left at home) by Saturday afternoon. We had clearly caught the attention of our competitors as my supplier was subsequently bought out by Elusive Wildlife. I had the pleasure of meeting Elusive's owner Chad Stevenson and after speaking with him at length I really came to appreciate his story as much as his hog-centric product offering.
Moving forward, these little bad-assed lights will be sold as some variation of the "Kill Light" under the Elusive brand.
Many on this forum have previously purchased these lights and voiced their satisfaction with the quality, fast service, workmanship and reasonable price. For that, I will be forever grateful.
But, enough about my sad story. Given the recent and ongoing devastation taking place in Houston and other areas of Texas I have been thinking more about "how I could assist?"
So, after some thought, I am reaching out to you all and asking that you join me by coming up with suggestions/recommendations for a reputable organization that can put our actual dollars to good use.
Here is what I am proposing: I will sell the remaining 19 Sportsman Hog Lights that I have in stock at the full retail price of $125 and donate 100% of the purchase price to the organization that we come up with. And, as my previous standard operating procedure, I will still continue to pay your shipping as well.
I will keep a running tabulation of every purchase on this post and then once the final funds have been collected, post a picture of the full payment being made to assist those in need.
You can go to Spot On Outdoors
to make your purchase of an awesome light while knowing you in some small part assisted fellow Texans.
Kill pigs and help fellow folks in need. Merica!
