This poor lady doesn't look too good. Any opinions as to what is going on with her? Looks like a tumor on her chest to me.

Thanks y'all

Wow - not looking good at all. Bet you don't see her around too much longer.

I was in a blind many years ago and a young buck walked right past me with one eye hanging out of its socket and kind of swinging back and forth as it walked. I shot it, but the thought of that dead eye hanging down still gives me the creeps. Seeing this doe kind of brought up that old memory.

Cutaneous fibroma. Not typically fatal unless it interferes with her ability to eat, which that one should not. More than likely, she has twins and is having a hard time finding enough to eat and maintain them at the same time.

Not a fibroma (a dark-colored, wart-like growth that eventually falls off). This is a seroma, which is a bag or pocket of skin filled with sera or other body fluids. Initial cause is an injury, usually penetrating (frequently antler tines, but not exclusively so). Not anything contagious. This location on the body is the most commonly-seen area. Normally it ruptures and drains. Although the body condition may be due to a completely unrelated cause, it would appear that this one has become infectious, likely causing septicemia.

I had a doe like that on my place for several years. It didn't seem to bother her. It either went away for someone got her.
