To give the ol benelli its annual bath before hunting season. Take the barrel/action off, take apart, pull trigger mechanism out, take to back yard and spray off with high pressure water hose, clean with hoppes # 9, oil, snake it, done. I used to wait till it started jamming, but I'm better now, just do it once before hunting season. Cleaned it this Sunday, lost the pin that holds trigger mechanism, it hit the ground and rolled...Just found it this morning, I was about to order another one.
