Neck turn once, annealing several times there are some that anneal as part of case prep fro every time the case Is reloaded. Did we just create monster?

Many suggest annealing only every third or fourth reload. I would be one of the many.

Annealing, I like to do it every 2nd or 3rd loading. I've never neck turned a case, and do not plan to.

I am in the 3 to 4 camp as well. Have gone 5 in some instances. Using the standard dies not bushing or Collet dies I am more apt to anneal at 3 than more

On annealing, it depends on what the caliber is. Smaller calibers and the shorter the neck will need annealing more frequent. 300 WM and 6.5 Creedmoor's will need more annealing than, say a 270 Win would. The 270 has a very long neck, where the 300 WM and 6.5 CM have relatively short necks.

I anneal every firing. I have an AMP and it's easy and super consistent. I've seen with me seating force gauge it is beneficial.
I turn the necks initially...then after 2-3 firings I'll clean them up again if I'm starting to see some variance in my seating forces. I've never done it more than twice on cases that have 10x+ firings on them.

If you are determined to have the best accuracy possible, turn necks one time on new cases. If you have enough brass flow to ever need a second turning discard the case.
If you size a case down to create a new cartridge, turn the necks one time.
Annealing is sort of like checking your auto for oil level and air pressure in the tires. Some people never do and other people are anal about checking.
Next good question might be checking individual case capacity.
