 Rabbit squirrel places to hunt near Alvin

Hey guys, so im starting to get my son into the hunting life and trying to find a place to take him to start off on small game like rabbits and squirrels. Can anyone recommend any close places to alvin or if anyone has some land they would be willing to let me pay a small fee to take him out every now and then. He has been watching videos on hunting rabbits and squirrels and been begging me to take him out to learn to shoot and teach him how to dress them as well. Any info would be greatly appreciated guys.

Sam Houston NF really isn't bad outside of opening weekends. I'm off during the week, so I go then. I never see anyone.

You will enjoy squirrel hunting at Nannie Stringfellow but it aint easy. Do some research on how to get em before you go.

Sam Houston NF really isn't bad outside of opening weekends. I'm off during the week, so I go then. I never see anyone. It can be really productive too if you hunt the right spot.

Nice mix of grays and foxes. I still haven't learned to hunt it right!

 squirrels will make a person believe in shapedhifters ... Many a times would set up un area full of fresh deer sign, only for a squirrel ta show up & start barking... Warning the deer of presemt danger...  could explain the absents of squash sightings...
