Thinking about trying one out. Anyone have any experience with one? I've only run Harris bipods but need another one and was considering stepping up to an Atlas until I found Accutac.

They are nice. Ones I've been around were pretty big and built very strong.

holy goodness, $200+ on a bipod?

I may not run it very hard, but my Caldwell has been excellent.

I have a Caldwell on one of my rifles and it seems to work just fine. My Harris is definitely a step up from the Caldwell but mostly because of the Larue treatment (tension adjustment and QD). I dont need a $200 bipod but just wanna try one out.

You've obviously never seen the price on an Atlas psr bipod. What's sad is they are cheap compared to some of the f-class ones.

I have an Accutac and it's pretty nice. There is a little play in the parts that you won't find in an Atlas. I do like how easy the Accutac adjusts. Just pull the legs and line up the notch.

What makes Accutac any different than Atlas?

I have two Caldwells, one is as good as any 6-9 Harris I've seen, the other just feels wrong, kinda cheap and junky. If I was in the market I would probably buy an Atlas and not look back.

Seems a bit pricey for what it offers, or doesn't. No swivel that I could find on their site but didn't look at the $400+ models. I think Harris is a much better offering for the price. P_102

I'd definitely buy Atlas next time.

Everybody needs at least one Harris BRM-S 6"-9", with a Pod-Loc. It'll be a friend for life.

I also have an Atlas. Straight prone, I prefer the Harris, since it is more stable. Barricades and modified positions, I prefer the Atlas, because it can adjust into more positions.

Interesting. Maybe I'll just go with Atlas and not waste my time with Accutac.
