looking at the Abilene area, looks like storms over the next week, and then clearing up... MAYBE A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH BIRDS SOUTH AND OPENING WEEKEND WILL BE FANTASTIC! Shows highs at 90 and lows in upper 60's... that will be perfect.

It'll change 3-4 times between now and the first.

I would say 50-50 which isn't saying much as long as it's not a gully washer we should be fine if the food is there only problem is all the water is the tank shoots late may not be as productive

Now talk about a storm on the Yucatan that could turn into a TS hitting around Houston this coming weekend. Wonder what that would do to the birds and fields.

I was worried about this. So, if a tropical storm pushes up from the gulf, this will not be good for dove, right?

...wait a minute. Didn't NASA successfully forecast the location of storms on Neptune two weeks in advance of the Voyager fly-by. If they can do that, you'd think we could get it right here on earth 10 days in advance.

Weather will push the birds around no doubt. Before a storm can be incredible as the birds are up flying w the wind like rockets, birds will fly in a light mist, but not a downpour. All u can do is get out there and see what happens. Storms can be beneficial on both the coming and going of birds. Just go hunt!

I bought a wheelybird cause I expected a storm to come in. When we have good birds it never fails. Will kill plenty of clays and beer cans if nothing else. PULL!
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

Well get to work today and they say running all this weekend and all next weekend. That means double time. With this storm going to flood where I planned on hunting I think I'll change plans and make the drive to the plant.
