I've had a Nikon 550 for many years,it works great, but is only good on animals to maybe 300 yards. I bought a Sig Kilo 2000 a couple years ago,and it has performed flawlessly. It will also range a hell of a lot farther than 2000 yards,it will range a water tower that I can see from my front porch, and it is 2775 yards away!
If you plan on ranging long ranges with the Sig,I'd suggest getting one of these unless you have nerves of steel,it's hard to range smaller things when you can't hold it steady.

I printed one similar to txhillbilly for mine but was open up top to strap it in. Been waiting on the new 3D printer to get set up to print one that doesn't need a strap. Hopefully it'll be a lot cheaper than $75

I use a sig 2000 as backup to my 2400. I cant justify the cost of a vectronix yet, maybe with time.

Went from the older Leica model to the Sig 1350. Glass is just as sharp and ranged my elk at 776 on the animal. I've played with it on some whitetail to just over 900 yards.

Pay it forward - Kids are the future.

Rifles are similar to boats and young women...there's no end to how much money you can pour into them without making them any more useful.
