Nice buck. Good beams, tine length and spread. I'm in Mills as well.

We're in Mills county too. Great looking deer! What part of the county are you in?

I hunted Mills County for 12 years across the road from the Game Wardens playground. If you are LF and that deer jumps the fence it's over. When I hunted down there around 6-7 years ago it was hard to get neighbors to not draw down on everything you see.
Is The old toddy house still around?

Good looking deer, Mills can throw some really good bucks.

We had a place there for 8 years....sure miss it!

I guess it depends where your at in the county when it comes to neighbors. This is my 3rd year there, and my neighbors don't hardly shoot at all. I can honestly recall maybe only 2 shots over the last 2 years, and I hunt every weekend. I still see a lot of the same bucks from year to year so far.

INRUT, I am in mills county also. Toddy House is still around but Goldthwaite sells beer in town now so it made it tough for them. A liquor store is being built in town now and ive heard rumors The Toddy House will close up next year

I sure miss Mills County. Been two years since we lost our lease and haven't lucked into another one.

LOL...I do a Meat hunt there every year. The Neighbor's Stand is 100 yards off the fence line, but faces the fence. Two years ago, they shot a small 8 point and I almost came un-glued. Not even sure they knew I was in the stand. The Buck was next to the fence and the individual had a heck of a time loading him in the Truck. I just wanted the big Doe the Buck was with...nothing like having someone shoot in your direction. I hide behind a huge Pecan tree now. slinger The Toddy house is still there.
