Not much of a picture, just getting people pumped for the weekend. Took her before heading to the office this morning.

6.5CM X 125 yards. She made it 10-15 yards before collapsing, so not exactly the perfect shot. Still working on reading my uphill and downhill shots.

Beautiful. You apparently have your priorities in order. May the rest of your day be as rewarding.

One shot is all it should take.

I wish I could just shoot pigs in the way to the office. Nicely done.

Is there that much of a difference in trajectory at 125 yds? Ive never noticed it if there is.

But, good enough!

I have two unwritten rules:

All I know is that I missed on Tuesday morning with my scope dialed up 1 mil. Sometimes it's just a hair that matters i guess.

Nice pig! At 125 yards, you would have to have a very steep angle for a shot to be far enough off to matter. Trajectory doesn't start to impact high until about 15 degrees down or up (both are the same, either direction), and that's at longer range shots (300, 400+ yards). At 125 yards, it won't matter much unless you are very steep.

1 mil at 100 yards is 3.6", so that's enough to start to matter for a good hit vs a bad hit. Did you dial 1 mil up or did the scope get dialed by accident by 1 mil? You only need about .3 or .4 mil to be dead on at 200 and about 1.1 to 1.3 mils to be on at 300. So, 1 mil is about a 300 yard come-up.

Chad - my mistake - I dialed up .1 mil. You would think it wouldn't matter, but for some reason it seemed to. i was about 10' elevated at 125 yards. I just know I had to have been high the first time, because there was a pig in front of the one sighted in that i would have hit. The successful shot was at zero adjustment and I aimed just a tad low, although I pretty much hit right there.
