So I finally finished my 1911 build. Variety of parts used. Frame is PSA and the slide is no name stainless 80 series compatible. (I stayed 70 series). I used a HiViz lite pipe for the front sight. Have red on it now, but can change it to green or white. Rear sight is Kensight Fixed combat sight with white dots.
Total for parts was around $650. For cerakote and some gunsmith work (plunger tube staking) total came to $770. Yes I know I could have bought a new one for that price, but where is the fun in that. I got way more satisfaction with this and spent the money over time as opposed to 1 transaction. Hard to tell in the pics, but it is OD Green over FDE, with Black hardware. The grips are Hogue Standard rubber in ODG as well. Funny enough, almost 70% of the parts were purchased from eBay.

Its shoots good. Today I used different reloads so they affecting my groups, and I was not top notch for shooting today either, lol. But for the most part it grouped well and my sights are centered enough. All in all I am satisfied with my build. And eager to work up a load that works well with the gun.

The barrel is a used Springfield barrel, The trigger is a Fusion K Hole trigger. As it sets its at about 4-1/2 lbs
