Anyone have any experience with them? Just shot one at the local bow shop and wow is it smooth. Has double cam design that takes away the cam lean on standard single cam bows. Just don't have any experience with them, and it was sure a good price. Right at $600 for the bare bow with arrow rest. Thoughts or experiences?

Good shooting bows. G5's top line of bows.

Thanks, I was really impressed in the way it felt and shot. Very smooth with almost no "twang". Fairly quiet as well.

I still shoot a Quest/G5 Primal that I bought new in 2009. Its quiet, consistent and smooth. I have hunted with it and shot in two different local archery leagues. It has been fired many times. I would not hesitate to buy another from them.

Thanks for the input, I went a head and pulled the release so to speak. It is a Prime Swift. Really like the way it shoots. Ill be putting in the practice with it up until the 30th when we leave for Colorado. Txhuntr2, do you have the quiver that comes from Prime or did you go with a different brand?

G5 quiver is good unless it gets loose on the post which some have. and that is the most common complaint I hear about them.

Thanks Kmon1, you have been very helpful. I usually use a belt mounted quiver, but was just wondering what others had experienced. I think I will stick with the belt quiver.

I bought mine as a bare bow and already had some other quiver. It mounts to the bow by sliding into a groove or channel and locks into place. However I never shoot with it on. I hunt from a box blind so I take it off right away. I even take out a couple arrows and lay them within reach incase I miss with first arrow and get another chance. (Its happened!)

How are you liking the bow? I still get comments about how quite my bow is and I love the rock solid backstop at full draw.

Man that back stop is rock solid! Really liking it. Literally threw a sight on it and second group of 3 arrows was about 1.5" which for me is outstanding. Most other groups were close to that size after that as long as I did my part. Really liking the bow. I haven't even tried to tune it yet, not sure I really need to.

I shot out to 30 yards yesterday evening, still keeping groups of 5 under 3". We are going to try and do a little tuning on it today after work. I hope to tighten it up just a bit. I was using some borrowed arrows that had different vane types and lengths so I am really happy with it. It has been the most natural feeling bow to shoot that I have ever tried.
