Got 2 locations done with 3 more to go. Would have finished but got a fuel leak on the Tractor. Got to let it cool off before I try to find the leak. Sure hope it's nothing serious because I have a lot of Dove fields to mow, fingers crossed.

I need to do some mowing also. Probably tomorrow morning I'll get after it early.

Yeah, I only mow once a year and that is during August. Went through all the senderos and roads and sprayed any huisaches that had appeared so will hit it mid-month.

Good deal, last thing you want to do is catch your country on fire!

No kidding, as hot as it was yesterday when I was mowing I was worried about that...and burning my tractor down.

Lately it has but overall it's been a good year so far. 21" so far this year and our average is 27".

I'm waiting a bit longer to mow my senderos and the back pasture, in the hope that this next time will be the last time before hunting season.

The hardest part of mowing, for me, is not falling asleep.

same here, usually wait until early/mid Sept to wait for everything to be sun scorched enough it won't grow back, also when I shred my food plots for planting when a cool wet front is forecast in late Sept/early Oct.
