Im lookong for opinions on a good LED flashlight to keep in a vehichle. I will probably get multiple ones for my truck, wife's car, daughters use in her future car, and maybe a fourth for my Gator.
I'm looking for info on brightness, water resistance, sturdy enough that if I backed over it on accident with my truck it would probably survive.
What do you guys use? I have plenty of maglights. Sturdy but heavy and not as bright as I want. I want something that would fit in a glove box or in the car door pocket.

I've got a streamlight but I also use this one a ton. Its magnetized on the end you can focus the beam and pretty darn bright. Also allows you to save battery power by selecting the brightness percentage. Picked this one up at Higginbotham brothers. Its anodized aluminum housing and feels extremely sturdy.

Does anyone make an LED flashlight that just turns on and off? I am tired o paying $40-$50 for a flashlight that goes from bright to dim to strobe to SOS to red to playing Yankee Doodle Dandy and goes haywire in less than a year. I don't need something on the end to stab people with. Please someone come out with a well made, long lasting, slim flashlight that runs on AA or AAA batteries and turns on and off.

That's kind of what I am thinking too.

Its well made and again functions extremely well. My son mounted it on his rifle and took a nice hog with it out a little past 100 yards. Not sure what else you want in a 40 dollar light.
