Want ammunition dialed in that shoots the best in YOUR rifle? These test loads are the way to go. I'm offering test loads with ammunition built with the best powders loaded right in the sweet spot with the bullet of your choice. The ammunition will be loaded to the tightest tolerances possible to match grade standards with the best tools and components possible (see video below). This ammo is for the serious shooter who wants the most accurate and tightest groups possible and the most consistency in their ammunition when shooting.
You will get 25 rounds of ammo with 5 rounds in each group, and 5 different groups- Loads A, B, C, D, and E. Load A starts with the lightest powder charge, and Load E will be the hottest load. Powder charges will be increased in small increments to find the sweet spot in YOUR rifle.
How it works- Take the 6.5 Creedmoor. You want to try the new Hornady 143 ELD-X, but you don't want to buy 20-100 rounds of one load at once without knowing how it shoots first. We will load up 5 rounds each in 5 different groups of ammunition with the same 143 ELD-X bullet to test fire at the range. You shoot them for groups and keep track of each group on paper. If you have one or two loads that shoot really good, that's YOUR load for your rifle, and you order that load for your rifle. You get to test the ammunition and know how it shoots in your rifle before you buy 20-100 rounds at once. We will keep track of the load data and record your ammunition data to duplicate YOUR load for your rifle when ordering more ammunition.
Pricing- Pricing is based on the price of the round, plus a small increase for the added labor for the test loads (press and die set up times). For example, my match grade 270 Winchester ammo is about $1.60 per round, which would be $40 per box of 20. Add in the small additional labor cost of $20 per 25 rounds, the total for test loads would be $60. That comes to $2.40 per round for each test load, and it's match grade ammunition that will be tuned to YOUR rifle. This is the most economical method for dialing in the ammunition to YOUR rifle. Most of your common calibers will run about $60-$70 for test loads. Some of the high end calibers will run $70-$120 for the test loads. A simple way to figure out the test load pricing is take the pricing from my website, calculate the cost per round, multiple that cost per round for 25 rounds, and add $20 for labor of the test loads. Actual pricing for each caliber can vary greatly depending on the brass used and the bullet selected. Please call, email, or PM me for actual pricing and ordering.
