Definitely my favorite hunting show. I really enjoy his books and podcasts too. Like some above said, I don't agree with him on everything, but he does seem to think things through and really contemplates the various issues facing hunters and hunting.

Meat Eater is very good but my favorite is our very own Gary Roberson's Carnivore.

I only watch Meat Eater and Benny Spies. I enjoy watching Rinnela hunt and cook and Benny is just funny.

I have learned a heck of a lot from Carnivore also. How you sit and your set up is something I remember him talking about a few weeks ago. very informative. I really like the coyote shows. My kind of hunting.

I have been watching some of his older episodes on netfix. I really like his episode on dove hunting and hog hunting. He is a world class hunter, but new to texas hog and virginia dove. He asked a lot of questions, admitted his lack of knowledge, made fun of himself, and learned a lot.

That tells me that he is professional. He can run circles around most hunters, but when he is doing something new, he shows respect, he is humble, eager to learn and give credit where credit is due.

One of the few hunting shows I let me kids watch.

I am a big fan of the show and his podcasts. He is very down to earth and seems to be in it for the right reasons. I detect very little BS from him.

What good show is on the Pursuit channel? I haven't found anything outside of name droppers......

That's what I initially thought.

Podcasts are pretty good, getting better by the episode. Digg the TV show, not all the BS rock music and drone cameras...you know who you are.

Rinella is the real deal. The stone glacier podcast is fantastic.

Thanks to this thread, I spent an enjoyable weekend watching seasons 5 and 6 (all they had on Netflix). I have found several more episodes on YouTube.

Rinella seems like a good dude. I like how he's reaching out to foodies and other folks who wouldn't normally be into hunting.

I liked the podcast about Sandhill Crane hunting in West Texas. There was also a podcast where Rinella describes all of the illnesses he has incurred eating the wild game...if I recall it was the bear meat that almost did him in.
