I bought a moultrie pro deer feeder last year it worked fine until the raccoons chewed the cord that connects the corn dispenser and the battery . I took it down a couple months ago and put the cords back together and everything seem to work until I set it up and tested it out . The corn dispenser turn on and shot out corn and turn off and I went to check it out and corn was still coming out of the bottom of the feeder when I moved the metal spinner plate . Do I have to buy a new feeder or is there a part to fix this ?

Maybe you just need to move the spin plate just a little closer to the opening. That's if I'm understanding the question correctly

Nathan there is a small set screw on the bottom part of the spinner plate. Probably will need a small allen wrench to get it loose. Then slide the spinner up and tighten the screw. 1/2 ' or less is usually good between spinner and small funnel on barrel. Doublecheck your wire where you reconnected.

I moved it up and I redid the wires and it still drops corn when you move the spinner plate it still drops out . Is the spinner plate suppose to lock after it goes off ? It is it suppose to drop corn when you move the spinner plate by hand ?

Nathan, the spinner moving is how the Moultrie dispenses corn. It isn't sophisticated/expensive enough to have anything to lock the spinner. To keep raccoons from eating all my corn I had to put cages around the spinner to keep them from being able to reach it.
