I find having the decoys up high attracts lots of birds, here is one way to do it.

I did these the last few years and came to the conclusion it's funnier "if you have the land" to just be mobile. Sit and watch and refine your ambush. Sometimes it's nice to sit in a chair but I always feel like part of me wants to move around a bit. Maybe when I get older I'll just sit
