I read that too fast. I thought it said camo Tikkas for $350 so I was pulling my wallet out. Looks like it's a $900 camo Tikka reduced down to normal Tikka prices:

Just got off the phone, they still have a couple BUT limited to 308 & 270 caliber.

meaning they have a few available for $350?

This looks like the same gun I bought in a 308 & traded it with another guy for the 6.5swede I had tried to buy as they ran totally out of inventory and were down to the last 3 T3 guns in stock when their computer stalled in processing the order when it could not confirm the inventory by SR # to allocate the the product to the Order, and I changed the item to the 308 get it to go again...that was probably the very last T3 in stock. Sure wish EO would blow out their T3 Hunters and Forests..I want a wood stocked Swede to go with the Super Lite Swede I wound up with finally.

Whittakers called them a Super Lite. Both of mine - the 308 I received and traded deadup for the Swede - are Blued fluted barrel & camo dipped regular composite stocks.

The original Stainless fluted camo dipped stock SL gun sold for LOTS Mo Money...trust me about like a T3x stainles wood stock Forest.

Whittaker blew out a Big pile of them in about 3-4 hours at such a high rate of sale their computer cound not keep up with processing the orders & CC's... Nice guns and well balanced but I would NOT want to shoot a 270 without a Limbsaver on it..and was a little leery of the 308 too.

Check out Cabelas, they just came out with flyer featuring the camo TX3 Lite, listed in 6.5 Creedmoor, better hurry.

$10 worth of spray paint will fix that issue very quickly.

I think the fluted barrel guns were 4oz's lighter than a standard barrel gun is...just a "thing" to seperate this one from that one and charge more for the chest beater bein' able to crow mine's mo bettah then your'ns is kinda thing IMO. Sheeesh!!!

The only advantage I can see is that my camo'd Swede's stock will hide muddy dirt lots mo bettah than a pristine glossy or smooth stock...and where I'm intending to take it I plan on using a garden hose to wash it off with first when I get home..but now that role is gonna be filled with the SS Marlin 270 it looks like which is what it was bought for to begin with...a solid bottom'd SS pirouge paddle with a trigger...
