but I am whooped now, need a vacation from our vacation  We had a great time in Gulf Shores, AL. weather was perfect and we did whatever the kiddos wanted and it was a blast watching them have fun  Pigged out, walked my bobo off on the beach everyday, ocean swimming, a few brewskies & beverages, cooked out, ate out. We are almost there.  Another Texan in front who is....  Sun rises were nice, had to walk past the pier to find this.  Go ahead and jump, Victoria & Grant  Surfer girl  The clan.

Took the kids Parasailing. Funny yet not funny but interesting story. On the Pier initially was going to fish but the guy working there said the fishing was slow, so I got there before sunrise and took pictures. He was right, some folks were catching small blues and other little fish. Sunrise on the pier.    There was a big Red and a big Sheep Head hanging out for a long time towards the shallow, only two people chunked at them for a short while to no avail.

Under the pier, thought it looked cool.  Land mine.  Turtles Nesting area  Got real lucky, weather was perfect when we got there Sunday all of the way until we were packed and ready to leave on Thursday, then the rains came.  We saw a whole bunch of tractor trailers on the way back carrying Army tanks and other vehicles, and I mean a bunch!  Looks like the rains followed us back to Texas and Luke loves it

I really enjoy the gulf shores!! The drive home stinks!! Congrats!! 10.30 hours down there, 11 hours back to Dallas. What was your point of origin? Denton, we have stayed in the 30A area several times. I'd would like to go to the Mobile area next time it's a few hours closer.
