Pretty much a mix and match. My Daughters first buck. Working diligently and improving the area for the wildlife.

Nice aoudad!

I've been hunting Val Verde for a few years now. Several of us that hunt there share updates on a thread we have devoted to Val Verde County in the Deer Hunting section.

Gotta love that rough, rocky country!

If ducks had horns I'd probably be a duck hunter.
I am a horrible deer hunter. Probably the worst. Ever.

Great stuff. Neat country.

Do you have a good pic of the cutters on that hog? Looks huge.

putting up fences there is definitely labor intensive. Got the feeders up and running, Now to figure out how to do water for the animals. Necessity is the key ingredient in creativity.

Man, those are some amazing cutters.

Something about that part of the state. We aren't that far away, and our pigs have a lot of Russian in them and big tusks.

I am on the North side of Amistad (377) off JS Murray Ranch Road. About 28 miles N of the Del Rio City Limits 8 miles south of Carta Valley.

I would take the photo of the cutters with a grain of salt. you can clearly see the brown staining on the part that was actually exposed. they've been pulled out of the socket a couple inches

yes they were pulled out. Not trying to exaggerate, expand or hide any element. Strictly for display purposes. Was the best picture I have. We were just glad to get rid of him.

Nice start! Did you do the euro's yourself? And I like that butcher block you have too...is it the roll around kind? If so, where'd you get it? My Mother has one and it's every bit as handy as pockets on a shirt! I'd sure like to find one at a reasonable cost.

Mmmm Hmmm

We do our own euros, and the block is my buddies, think he picked it up at Goodwill if I remember correctly. Haven't seen another yet but are always looking.

FYI I am not the one that got the pig, that was the co-owner. don't want to take credit for something someone else did. We had hunted him for about a month and he was hitting the feeders. happened to hit the stand he was at.

I could tell they were pulled. But still impressive.

Looking good up And your daughters smile says it all cheers

And that boar has some nice cutters on him to begin with up

Looks like you need to thin the goat population out before they tear up your feeder. You might want to consider sticking the feeder leg poles into a bag of concrete and soaking them in water to make solid foot?

For water we built a small lean to shed very low for water run off from rain and then put a gutter on the low end that flows to a barrel with a float valve in a water trough. Cost was about $120 for each one we built. Might be an option for you if you get rain out there.
