My blind always seems to have little spiders in it. It's not air tight, and isn't built in a way that it can be made air tight (walls are built out of fence boards). Anybody have a recommendation for some thing to keep them from living in there? Ideally some kind of device I can leave in there and replace some kind of insert or something like that.

Not a device, but before season opens I spray the legs and floor of my blinds with Demon WP. It is really good for control of spiders, scorpions, and other insects. Mix a packet in a sprayer and when the solutions is sprayed and dries it is odorless, safe to humans and animals, and lasts several months unless heavy rain washes away. I can't prove it is the reason, but since I started using I haven't had a problem with wasp or mud-dobber nests in my blinds either.

Permethrin. Lasts for months. No smell. Keeps everything out.

Somebody a few years ago said to use these. I put them in my stands but I don't have a lot of bug issues.
Available at Walmarts and Home Depot. I also drop a bug bomb in my stand preseason. I've seen way to many black widows

We have been really happy with the Ortho Home defense insect spray. Even safe for indoors, but works great for the stand legs and all perimeters of doors and windows. About $7-8 a gallon at Walmart or Home Depot and lasts for months.

Bengal brand diggers. I put one in each stand and the outhouse when I top off the feeders before opening day. Kills scorpions as well.

There's only 2 seasons in a year. Deer season and getting ready for deer season.

X2 on no pest strips. 3 years and only dead bugs in the blind.

Seal all the cracks on the inside using silicone.

The walls of my blind are made of old fence boards. Not enough silicone in the world is going to seal that up. There is a gap between every board, and some of the boards boards don't even completely reach the top of the blind.

gorilla duct tape all the cracks and then paint the whole inside with flex seal black paint and it will hold everything together. If there is a will there is a way.
