My buddy likes hunting with ar's, he has single points set up on them. I have been wanting to figure out how to get one on my 308, i will be getting one of these, walking through the woods hunting it is much more convenient to just raise your rifle rather than dropping the sling off your shoulder to shoulder the rifle

You hunt quail with a rifle?

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

I had something like that 25 years ago when i hunted with a lab and a heavy 12 gage autoloader. Its ok for short hunts but still got tiring keeping the gun in thst same spot all day. I would go with a lighter gun

I've never tried one, they've been around for a long time.

I can't justify it, my upland guns don't weigh enough to warrant a sling.

I don't use a sling when upland hunting, my guns are light and there really isn't a need for one.

Lol, no, that would be for walking around stalking pigs.
I don't even have a sling on my 20g
