I can't start trimming trees and shooting lanes until Aug 15th bc of Ft Hood rules but I can't wait to get things set up exactly the way I want and get my bow set ups ready to go.

Hell Ft Hood has better hunting than many of the private properties I've been on. Not to mention some giants running around including a 186 in buck killed 3 seasons ago.

I would probably get a nose bleed that high in the air. You would have to rake up an acre of mesquites and bind them together to get that high on our place in Baylor County.

Good looking set up. I love when you see the perfect spot, like a light from the heavens shining on it.

LOL ... we had a platform up about 35-40 up in a sycamore tree, tallest tree within several hundred yards ... was spooky to hunt out of if the wind was blowing, good 5-6 foot sway.

You for sure better not nip off a bottle that high in the air.

I photo shopped myself in a tree that high once. I don't fear heights, just the sudden stop at the end of a fall. rofl

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

Exactly. No dumb bastard ever died from heights, but plenty from a rapid, unintentional retreat from heights.
