I have mentioned on a few other post that my 14 Year old son has been mowing lawns this summer(I can no longer afford his gun habit). He has payed for his own new bycyle, Cell phone, Trip to 4h summer camp, spending money for a trip to Colorado with some friends along with some other stuff. I think that he is the most proud of his new Remington 870 pump in 12 ga, and his new CVA Wolf Compact .50 Cal Muzzle loader. Here are a few pics at the range yesterday. This is the second trip out for the 870 but it is the maiden voyage for the 50 cal. Now he is saving for 4-H and Texas Youth Program Hunts this winter

PM me his address and I will drop $20 in the mail to soften his ammo cost or help with his license. Makes me proud some kids are still working for things they want. This will only be a one time event, tell him to consider it a reward for diligence and hard work or a birthday gift bonus or a helping hand incentive.

Glad to see a kid with a good work ethic. Good job dad! How's the pheasant crop looking up there? Give the boy a few more years and he'll be spending his money on more productive investments like girls and cold beer, and a longer pair of camo pants.

My dad gave me a 96 Dodge pickup he had bought with his inharintance, I have now handed it down to Bob. We will start fixing it up next week. They sure grow up fast

looking good! Texas Youth Hunts are what made me the hunter I am today!!! Amazing program with fun staff and experiences! I think that the new Adventure Hunt Program will be a smash within the next few years. I noticed the other day that the third one has been posted.

Take your kid hunting and you won't have to hunt for your kid. Train up a child in the way he should go so when he is old he will not depart from it. Keep up the good work sir!
