I went to check cams today and saw this white deer on cam and in person. I've never seen a "white" whitetail deer. Is that what Im seeing, or is this some sort of exotic. My bosses son shot a "white" deer last year but it had a very goatish head, some sort of exotic.

Albino whitetail. They're around, but rare.

Very cool.

Very nice. She'd get a pass on my place hoping for an albino buck or two.....

Looks more like leucism than albinism. Still very cool. True albinos have white eyes, pink noses and hooves.

Yep, cool deer but not an albino. It's rare to see them make it to adulthood since they don't have much camo going for them.

I got one in Llano, she initially just had a white on top of head and each year she had more white on her. She is off limits and probably 8 years old now. Always has a 3-4 doe with her.

The tail is what makes me think it's a fallow. And the coloring is very similar to what I see very frequently. It looks like a young doe fallow. Heads look similar to whitetail when they r young. Might be wrong. Hard to tell with the pics. Always fun when you have something out there that you r not sure what it is. Enjoy.

Unquestionably a while fallow doe. I said earlier it looked like a leucistic whitetail but those photos weren't the best. This one leaves no doubt. 100% white fallow.

Well, it may not be a white whitetail but it is still pretty cool. I'm sure it'll be good table fare.

I agree first pics looked WT, that last pic screams fallow to me. There's a HF place northeast of Trent.
