Hate the frame color on my LW Commander. Can this coating be "blasted off" and recoated a different color? I'm thinking a dark gray. The gun shoots lights out, it should after spending $1600 in custom work.

they bead blast what is to be cerakoted, and that puts it back in the "white". Burnt bronze with the black accents would look outstanding and a little distinguished like the fella who owns it!

Well, that would look bad azz and tactikool! Actually they can put a slight gloss on it and be pretty nice. The grips on it in the pic would look fine. If they feel a little large Magpul has a grip that is slightly thinner and feel pretty good.

Its a blue steel gun, would probably rust. I should have left it original Blue and just had the custom work done to it. It is a Series 70 LW Commander.

Have it re-blued? There are Cerakote colors that look like stainless also. That green is a slap in the face to that fine pistol.
