Fired up some rattlesnake the other day and topped it with red eye gravy. It was great

I once drank muddy water out of a hoof print and was dang glad to get it.

I have yet to have good rattlesnake. Edible yes, neat, yes, but that's about all I can give it.

Sorry that does not look particularly appetizing to me.

There ain't much meat on them for sure. We were having a family get together and everybody expects me to have something different.

It was the first time for me to try red eye gravy and it was really good and very easy to do

red eye gravy = waste of good coffee.

That's just my opinion though, rattlesnake looks good.

Whenever my Yankee inlaws come to visit, they always ask me to make them rattlesnake chili. To them, it's the coolest thing. The second thing they want to do, is go to the shooting range. I guess they don't have a lot of access to them where they are from.
