Anyone going? I haven't been in years. I got tired of Will Rogers Tiny azz arena. Now its at the Convention Center? Any better here?

on the TTHA, I have nothing against the AR Platform for any shooting use but having Daniel Defense as their main sponsor and the only guns they hunt with just does not look right to me but I'm old school.

I hunted with my AR a couple times, just not very comfortable. confused2

the Ft Worth show is the best one IMO - I have gone for years - I enjoy browsing stuff. SCI is way better of course

I went last year at the Conv. Center and was VERY underwhelmed. The only reason we went was to say hi to our goose hunting guide. When it was at Will Rogers, it was borderline sensory overload - I enjoyed it back in college. Quit going until last year. Probably won't go this year - and I work downtown.

Went maybe 3 years ago or more, down here. Tiny show. Very sad.

Have not been in several years, seemed each year was exactly like the last. Do enjoy seeing something different but I am not interested in guides or booking. Seems cost of admission continued to increase but there did not seem to be any improvement in the show. May go this year.

LOVE the DSC favorite

I would go to TTHA if somebody drives me.

I used to go Friday nights when I was a member (many years ago).

Like Claypool and most, it was a time for my hunting bud's and me to start getting excited about the season

drink a bunch of expensive beer then head to Angelo's or Rail Head for ribs

I go every year and catch up with guys I've hunted with at different ranches and see the people in the industry I only see once or twice a year. I rarely buy anything.

I stopped attending TTHA in 2009. The only show I go to in Texas are McAllen or one of the safari club shows/gala events.

I have never been, so I will probably check it out. Somebody told me Eva Shockey will be there, so if nothing else I will get to introduce my daughter to positive female role model.

I'm getting ready to turn 71 and yesterday I spent 11 hrs in the sun standing on two bum feet watching large Bobcats tear into 200 acres of cedars. Shearing, mulchers, and grapplers going. I was marking some flowlines, tie downs, risers, etc and trying to watch their progress yet stay ahead of them and out of the way. This was on rough land, no wheatfields.

Point being, I don't think I could handle having to walk around in a wussy, A/C climate building with clean cutely dressed people trying to take my money. To anyone going shooting tomorrow and riding in their ATV and sitting in the shade I hope you don't stress yourself.

I decided over a dozen years ago that if I wanted to sniff someone's arm pit I'd just stay home and sniff the wifes.

Boy that's no joke. Last time I went many years ago it was the same way. Some folks needed to take a shower bad.
