Anyone have any info/stories/etc on Sulphur Springs CDJR, specifically for Ram trucks?

I've found a couple that may have to force my hand, just wanted to see of any of y'all out there have used them and if they are easy, willing to deal or steer clear because there is a reason I've found a couple "wow, I need to check those out"

Also, can I expect the new 18's to roll out with the beginning of FY2018? The ones I'm looking at are new old stock if you will a couple new 15's and 16's, and looking for avenues to sweeten the pot.

I had some service work done there on the 02 ram 4x4, replaced front axle and fixed some issues with the 4 wheel drive.

was very happy with the treatment I got and how fast they got it done.

if I was looking for a dodge I would go there or to monte coon, moritz also has a dodge dealership.

I found two new 2015 2500 Laramie Cummins 4x4's that are enticing me to say the least....just trying to grasp if it'll even be worth trying to offer on one. Seems I either dug one up from way back in the lot hiding, or they just refuse to deal now that they are so old.

Yeah, I thought about consulting Monte or Tony at Moritz and see what they have to say in the Ram department.

In '06 a buddy of mine bought a brand new '04 Chevy off the lot. If I remember right, they told him there was a recall with the seat belt or air bag or something, and it sat waiting for parts that long. Still had the full manufacturer's warranty (3/36) from the date of purchase. He put well over 100k on that truck without an issue. (Well, aside from the common issues those trucks had.)

Seems like a brand new truck that's fixing to be three years old would be high on their list to get rid of. Gotta be nickel and diming them to death with taxes, upkeep, etc. Only thing I'd be worried about is buying a truck that's set up that long. Especially a diesel.

Most of the 16 or 17 year models are "usually" the VERY Expensive trucks. They knock $15,000 off the sticker and the truck is still $55,000

Or it's a puke color, equipped with nothing.

Here it is... loaded to the gills, nice color

The 10 grand "discount" is the same 10 grand off all their line, so I'm going with 54 is sticker and start point for haggling. I'm considering lowballing it after talking to an internet department guy. Like me, had no clue why they weren't blowing them out, and that offering on it, would be a good idea.

The Moritz ad on the side of this page has 12k off a brand new one. Yeah, a new 15 is still new, but it's nearly three years old as soon as it leaves the lot.

I just lowballed them on the white one. We'll see what they come back with.

I'm a little worried about that, but it is fully loaded with 290 miles....maybe get them to full detail, service and change every fluid in the truck and suddenly the 2015 number becomes moot?

I can find fully loaded 2015 and up trucks with 30k miles on them still hovering at the 50 mark all day.....but having trouble if this is a deal of the year and be a fool not to do it even if it's my 3 pick of the new Ford/GM/Ram 3/4 ton trucks, or pass and gamble at finding a 17 at Christmas and gamble I can get a big 3 laramie/high country/Platinum at under 54 Grand.

That's what I'm saying, if Moritz is willing to go 12k on a brand new one, then the Sulphur Springs place should have to make a considerable concession for one that's essentially three years old already.

I'm curious what their bottom dollar is on it.

I'm talking to one right now, we'll see if I can get anything out of them before I call the GM.

You can find a loaded pickup (like your looking for) in a 2018 model by Christmas for less than 54k your just going to have to haggle

It would have to be a substantial discount ($7-8k) over the newer ones for me to even consider it. Plus I bet there have been some upgrades to the newer ones.
