It was time for a break from work to relax and spend some time with the family. After he got finished up in the U-Trip WS Baseball Tournament, we did a lot of fishing and it was off the charts. The bad deal is that Monday its back to the grind out in Hobbs, but it makes time off possible. My apologies in advance for the snip job, there are two individuals that see fit to follow me around every chance they get and try to rub the boat rails together.
My kid with his best Striper of 17 lbs. We have been on these fish good since Spring, but this past week was lights out. It was limits every day before 09:00, and no fish under 9 lbs. All were released back into the lake.
Another Solid Fish
We drove down to Port O' Connor to try to get into the Specs and Reds, and it was game on for us. It was his first trip in the Bay, and we waded and he caught on real quick. I swear I could hear the birds singing something about Oxner when we were on that school of Specks.
My kid thinks that shirt is his lucky one, everytime he wears it, we do well. I spent today with the wifey, and tomorrow we will begin getting ready for Deer season which I am ready for.
