I have 350000 miles on my 2007 chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 so I've been through several sets of tires.By far the BFG's have given me the best service and mileage. I tried one set of Toyo Open Country and early on liked their ride and off road performance. I found that tire noise increased a lot as mileage increased. I also believe their tread compound is a good deal softer than BFG. Far more issues with thorns, rock cuts etc. I did get 52000 miles.

I have a set of cooper AT's on mine and the traction was terrible. I had 1 mix match that was a replacement tire and it is a much better tire, way more traction and also coppers. I will find the name of the bad traction tire and good traction tire. The bad one may not be sold anymore

Did you make a purchase? I have Toyo R/T's 35s and love them. I've had the Toyo MTs 37s in the past but on new truck went smaller set up and 35s and love the R/Ts much much better for the ride, less noise and still aggressive enough for me in mud.

I'm leaning hard towards the R/Ts right now. Had a change in schedule so I'm commuting from DFW into Oklahoma every week and then back for the weekend. Gonna run the current tires into the ground so I avoid unnecessary (pre-hunting season) wear.

Yep, I don't run daily drives on my RTs. Start shopping the RT's now as can find better summer time deals before rush on them in the fall/winter.
