Last week we put A LOT of seed in the ground, fenced off ponds, sprayed ponds, received shipment of 5 water control structures and just kept playing the chess match with Mother Nature. Ponds that we pumped months ago are flourishing with aquatic vegetation. Our sweat equity now will pay off huge come waterfowl season as we are preparing to make sure we have ample food and habitat to hold birds throughout the season. Both our club and day hunt ponds and properties are REALLY looking good! Still a lot left to do, but we're definitely sitting good with everything we've been able to get knocked out so far.

That is really cool to see! Good luck on the venture!

Did you have to get a lot of different permits for the water control? Are you pumping from holding ponds or some type of public waterway? Just curious how all that works!

All of this is done on private property and water comes from the land owners wells that we pay to use or from the LCRA.
