I love my Traeger, very easy to get great results and you don't have to tend it constantly and worry about flair ups.

I added some fire bricks to the bottom, it should help retain and keep temperature in the wind.

I prefer to cook with wood or charcoal, but for weeknight cooking I've been thinking about getting a pellet smoker to replace my gas grill. I just can't decide which one yet. Love seeing that a of folks are happy with them.

Its seems to help quite a bit. I have no type wind block, so when it howling the temp can swing. Not so much anymore
