Found myself needing a new scope level recently and with minimal space available for mounting ended up with this. Had every intention of getting an accuracy first level but after some looking decided it would likely block the view of my elevation turret a good bit. So it was looking like rail mounted was my only option until I stumbled across this one built by David Tubb. It is designed to mount low which is nice. Only possibly downside I could see is if you rely heavily on parallax markings. My scope is pretty forgiving in that aspect so it's no worry.

Have always liked the JEC pic rail mounted level, but getting one from him is like pulling teeth. I may need to try one of these. Of course, it'll be on the right side, covering my bondage knob, which I rarely use anyway.

I was left with a pic mounted until I found these and at 49 they aren't too bad. Got a lefty up here that wants to try it out on his. He might have it on the gun at heatstroke.

The reasons I have always preferred a pic rail mount is because I can use it to get the rifle level, then get the scope level with the rifle. And I can move it from rifle to rifle. There's so few options of pic rail mounts I'm going to just have to accept the fact that I'm going to have to go to a tube mount like most everyone else. But this one, you shared is better. I don't want the level in front of the turrets, it's too far away, and I don't want it behind the turrets, and on top, because it covers them up.

I've still got a USO pic rail mount, and of course it's not true, none are. I just known that I've got to make the bubble touch the left line to be truly level.

Is the bubble adjustable once mounted to pic rail?
I understand pic rails may or may not be perfectly level.

I would doubt it but as long as the scope reticle is leveled to the pic level all should be kosher.

Nothing like dropping 2k on a 10year old optic. Always wanted a premier and it's lived up to the hype.

The electronic ones are nice . A buddy of mine has one and with the led lights is easy to tell when you're level without watching the bubble. I doesn't go green until the bubble is perfectly centered from what I could tell. I just can't see spending $225

I think vortex makes one like that now too.

Scope manufacturers are starting to put them inside the scope but not sure I want flashing lights distracting my focus on target but could be something that you get used to?

Uso offered it for years but it was a simple bubble level inside the scope.

The new sig is said to be really nice but I've yet to see one in person.
