Question .
I am going to lay ship lap over linoleum flooring in the kitchen. Has anyone done this, wanted to know best way to secure the flooring to the concrete so it does not move or pop up.
Cut nails? or just glue it tot he linoleum already there

Old school way was to fasten sleepers to the floor (powder actuated masonry nails or Tapcon screws) and then nail the flooring to the sleepers. Of course this will raise the floor 1 1/2" but it's the quickest and easiest way of fastening to concrete.
There's only 2 seasons in a year. Deer season and getting ready for deer season.

Shiplap leaves you with a gap between each board. That would be hard to clean. Also, all the shiplap I have even seen was softwood and probably wouldn't wear well.
