Damn Yankees and city folk got it all screwed up.
Breakfast, dinner, supper. Speaking of City folk. It's breakfast lunch and supper in my part of the woods I was raised in. Dinner was special meals on special days like Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.

Breakfast, dinner, supper. But don't city's have alot of 'country' folks nowadays cause the farms are dried up?

Interchangeable to me. Both are evening meals..
But no one eats dinner at noon. This but I tend to use "dinner" if I'm going out somewhere and supper if I'm eating at home or the fire station. "Lets go out to dinner" "Supper is ready" Both evening meals though I guess the only exception is we have Thanksgiving and Christmas "Dinner" around mid day/early afternoon

I kinda use them interchangeably. When I first met my wife, she kinda scratched her head at me. I knocked on her door and said "It's bean time, ya ready to go eat?" She thought we were really going out to eat beans. Laughing!
back when we used to eat housecats we marinated them in louisiana hot sauce and soy sauce then season them with lemon pepper........then onto the grill slow cooking them 3 hours........excellent folded in tortillas and pico de gallo----Newgulf
