I make them like that also, except for screwing into a tree. Just replace the bolt going to the T-Post with a screw eyebolt.

Does it work and how do you make the threaded hole in the t-post?

You don't thread the T-post. You drill all the way through it and put nuts on each side.

I like it. Is getting the height a problem?

What size, thread, and pitch is the camera bolt? The eye bolt appears to be 1/4 by 20. I can't see the cross bolt good enough to be sure...
Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

Well done. All you're missing is stainless eye bolts to match the rest of the stainless hardware

Any chance you can redesign the piston driven engine?

Very nice, I may have to borrow that idea. What are those 3/8 " x 2 " eye bolts?

Very cool idea, I also saw some t=post mounts at tractor supply that might save a step.

That HME fitting from Amazon looks like it would work well. However, Dave3575's couple of pieces of hardware probably cost much less than $12. If one has a drill and a 1/4" bit he could probably save a sawbuck.
