got sick of trying to make due with whatever was around and moved to t-post hangers for my cameras; the ones they sell are ridiculously expensive for no reason so I made my own for a few bucks each

I make them like that also, except for screwing into a tree. Just replace the bolt going to the T-Post with a screw eyebolt.

You don't thread the T-post. You drill all the way through it and put nuts on each side.

I like it. Is getting the height a problem?

The eye bolt appears to be 1/4 by 20. I can't see the cross bolt good enough to be sure...

Well done. All you're missing is stainless eye bolts to match the rest of the stainless hardware up

Any chance you can redesign the piston driven engine?

These are way easier, work great, and are inexpensive.

Very nice, I may have to borrow that idea. What are those 3/8 " x 2 " eye bolts?

Very cool idea, I also saw some t=post mounts at tractor supply that might save a step.

That HME fitting from Amazon looks like it would work well. However, Dave3575's couple of pieces of hardware probably cost much less than $12. If one has a drill and a 1/4" bit he could probably save a sawbuck.
