I previously mentioned my Helmet/Monocular were stolen out of my truck. It's been 2-3 weeks. Yesterday PM, I open my garage door and my helmet and monocular are sitting on a bucket. This is a garage that I recently added, so the door doesn't lock/have an opener on it yet.

There's no way it's been there the whole time as I've moved a Jeep in there, have had both doors open (have one on the backside too) doing sprinkler work, working in there, etc. It was right there when you open the door.

I have absolutely no idea what to think who, what or how, I'm just happy to have it back.

Maybe they realized you're a decent guy and felt guilty or maybe just some stupid kid who wanted one and then Mom found it and said take it back or I'll turn you in.

I looked for weeks for my dog food scoop in the cave. It was gone. Made me crazy. I wrote it off, then found it sticking in the dog food bucket. I can't explain it, but I think I was messed with by a buddy. He still won't fess up.

Any chance wifey poo broke it and replaced it?

Maybe some kids stole it and their parents found out and said return it or we are calling the cops.

Apparently men are the worst "lookers of list stuff" according to my wife. I can't tell you how many times I look to no avail and she finds it it 5 minutes.

I doubt the folks got scared and returned stolen NV. They just would have dumped it. So maybe somebody is messing with you and it must be someone you know because a stranger would not know where to find your new, unlocked garage, right?

I walked in that garage at least 5 times since it disappeared, even moved a vehicle in (Anyone interested in a '54 M38A1 military?). I opened the door this time, it's sitting right there on a bucket. Helmet with a mono on it isn't something you just don't see.

It's not my wife (she know's it would only lead to another purchase).

The first time you stop in at Whataburger/IHOP/Racetrack with it on will be memorable. I get enough looks from folks because I have on my headlamp or muffs, still, LOL.
