Haven’t posted in here in a while; I’m still doing some stock removal but forging a lot more these days. Here are two I forged out of ¼ 1095. The first one has stabilized spalted curly maple handles and the second one (Sold)has stabilized African Iroko wood, Damascus steel guard. I haven’t made the sheaths yet, waiting for my thumb to heal after losing a tug of war battle with a metal bandsaw. I just got in a bunch of Sambar Stag can’t wait to fire up the forge. The stitched come out this Wednesday hopefully I can get back to work.

What is length on blades?
Use scissors when removing stitches, band saw blade might grab a stitch and jerk your entire hand.

The first one is 9 1/2 OAL cutting edge is 4 1/2 inches, the second one is 10 OAL and cutting edge is 4 1/2 inches.
