Who else is with me? I thought fishing would hold me over, but it's not. I'm going to Canada twice this summer to fish, already went in may and had a great trip, but it's nothing compared to a decent bird hunt. I hadn't checked on y'all in a while so i just wanted to say hello. I am 27 years old and do not know a single person in Arkansas that bird hunts. They are all obsessed with the ducks. I have converted a couple of them but they don't have bird dogs (yet) and just come with me a couple times a year. It is and always be the best sport in the world. 130 days and counting. Unfortunately there are more bird hunters than birds in Arkansas, it's just that most of us are old men. As much trouble and expense as it is with the game, not a lot of folks can or will play it. Glad to see a young man enjoy the pointing dog and know it is the best of sports!

I am fairly new to bird hunting. I am going to MT fishing, Canada hunting, and deer hunting before bird season even starts.

That said, I find myself thinking of taking the dogs out chasing birds too. Can't wait. It does get in your blood.
