I'm in the market for a thermal scope and was wondering what everybody would recommend, got a budget of $2000-$3000!

I think the best option for your $ would be a Pulsar Apex XD38a. It would be near the top end of your budget and they are now discontinued, but you can still find new ones in your price range. If not new, then a used thermal might be a good idea such as an Apex XD50a.
