So a buddy offered me a Boyd's stock cheap enough that I could mess with it and wouldn't feel bad if i ruined it. It seems to have turned out well. The front rifle is my short 6.5creed now in a wood stock with magpul bottom metal. Then the scope I had on it was just too heavy, so it needed a new one. It got a Burris XTR-II In 2-10x. So I moved the Bushnell ERS to my big 6.5 in the ax chassis, then the E-tac 6-24x moved to the the 700 AAC 308, and then the Lucid 6-24x landed on the 700 in .223. The 3-9 that was on it got stashed.
I think I'm happy with all of it now, I think. The problem is now I have to zero all of these and it's hot as H E double toothpicks outside. Truly a fat man problem!
So, has this ever happened to you?
