I have a neighbor who drops off her grandson to fish in my pond. She dropped of a loaf of freshly baked banana bread yesterday. I don't like it or dislike it. It's just empty calories. What would you do with it?

Chop it up, mix with other breads or pastries and make bread pudding.

Thank me later.

Throw a can of refried beans in it, really thickens it up nicely. Thank me later.

instead of the microwave... pop a slice in the toaster or toaster oven to brown a little as it heats... tastes even better!

also, made "french toast" with some one time and it was awesome.

I love banana bread, but only if it is cooked right (right for me) If its cooked all the way done I probably would feed it to the fish.

I like to take it out when its 1/2 done and somewhat of a sliceable pudding, cooked just enough to hold its form, very moist and dense.
