 Bird Dog Training Near Dallas

I'm new to Dallas and was wondering if anybody knew of any areas where I could run a new pup. Also, I don't have space for homing pigeons and I'm going to have to find a place to get my dog used to birds and introduce it to gunfire. I've found the Poetry Shooting Club but was wondering if anybody knew of any leases or guys that trained together that were closer where I could expose my dog to a field, birds and gunfire (I'm about 53 minutes from poetry shooting club). Look forward to hearing back with any information on spots closer to dallas if anybody knows of any.
In dog beers, I've only had one.

Poetry is not that far from you. And probably a good place to start a pup.
I used Upland Bird Country near Corsicana years ago, and it worked well for me.
Many of the old dog trainers say "the most important step in training a dog is to get them in birds, lots of birds."
I think it's pretty good advice. It's worked out well for me and my dogs.
